Patsy Ann Morehart, of Rochester, MN, passed away peacefully at American Orchards Assisted Living Home in Gilbert, AZ on November 12, 2021. Patsy was born on May 17, 1942 to Raymond and Dorothy (Severson) Soum. She was raised on a farm and graduated from Sawyer high school in North Dakota. Patsy was a hard worker and excelled in her career. She sold Home Interiors for many years, ranking #1 for sales in the Rochester region. She travelled to many grocery stores, designing and creating displays. Patsy was also the Vice President of Dutch Mill Trucking, out of Sparta, WI. She was even in charge of managing the family farms. She married Melvin Bartsch, and in their union they had three children. They later divorced, and she married Harland Morehart. The two of them later divorced as well. Patsy loved to spend the winters in Arizona, so much so that she spent the last three full years there. Patsy had a fun-loving spirit and a contagious laugh. Her passion for traveling led her to many countries around the world and she made friends wherever she went. She was a member of the Red Hat society, an international social organization for women of all ages to connect and inspire one another. Patsy is survived by her three children, Jamie Kranz, Timothy Bartsch, and Tammy Wilson; her brother, Larry Soum; her step-sister, Vicky Griffith; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Hazel Soum; and her brother, Donald Soum. A Memorial service will take place at 10:00 am, Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes (5421 Royal Pl NW, Rochester, MN 55901). Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. A private family burial will take place after the service. Memorials can be sent to a charity of your choice.
