Patricia 'Pat' Louise Berg

ROCHESTER -Patricia Pat L. Berg, 79, died peacefully at Seasons Hospice on on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 after fighting a courageous battle with lung cancer for 15 months. Pat was born in Rochester to Floyd and Gwendylen Arnold on April 27, 1932.She attended Rochester Public Schools.Pat worked at Weber and Judd Pharmacy for several years.She married Ronald E. Berg on February 15, 1952 at First Baptist Church.They lived in Rochester until moving to Naples, FL in 1986.They moved back to Rochester two years ago. Pat is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, Ronald; a daughter, Debra (Steve) Roberts, of Blue Springs, MO; a son, Bradley (Karin) Berg, of Rochester; a sister, Marjorie Danewick, of Rochester;sister-in-laws, Helen Arnold, of Rochester, Lorraine Berg, of Hendersonville, NC, and Beverly Gable, of Hendersonville, NC; a brother-in-law Bob (Annette) Berg, of Rochester; nine grandchildren, Michelle (Alan) McVay, Christa (Roger) Edwards, Sarah Roberts, Steve (Melinda) Berg, Cary (Heather) Berg, Anthony (Bethany) Berg, Katie (Bobbie) Van Horn, Jacob Berg, and Amanda Berg; and 16 great grandchildren. Pat is preceded in death by her son, Steve; a granddaughter, Breanna Berg; and a brother, Duane Arnold. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Autumn Ridge Church, 3611 Salem Rd. SW, with Rev. Bill Price officiating.Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials can be directed to Seasons Hospice or Autumn Ridge Church in memory of Pat Berg.
