Patricia Ann Pacyna

Patricia Ann Pacyna passed away peacefully on January 16, 2015. Pat was born September 8, 1953 to Everett and Eva Main from Ostrander, MN. Pat accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and Lord at age 8, while attending Bible School at the First Baptist Church in Spring Valley, MN. She graduated from LeRoy-Ostrander High School in 1971 and attended Pillsbury Baptist Bible College in Owatonna, MN.In 1980, Pat began working as a Health Unit Coordinator at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester, MN. Pat met James Pacyna in 1982, and she and Jim were married June 4, 1983. In 1989 Pat became the program leader and instructor of the Health Unit Coordinator program at Rochester Community and Technical College, a position she held until she retired in the Spring of 2014. Pat was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Pine Island, MN. Pat was preceded in death by her parents Everett and Eva Main, of Spring Valley, MN, her brother Robert Main, of Ostrander, MN, and a baby brother who died in infancy. Pat is survived by her husband, Jim, of Rochester; three children, Joel (Joy) and Ryan (Rebekah) Pacyna of Rochester, MN, and Jenny Pacyna, of Minnetonka, MN; three grandchildren, Gracelyn and Lauren, daughters of Joel and Joy Pacyna, and Lyla, daughter of Ryan and Rebekah Pacyna; two sisters Eunice (Albert) Mahlum of Spring Valley, MN, and Mary Ellen (Jerry) Ray of Tacoma, WA; and several nieces, nephews, and their families. A visitation will be held Thursday, January 22, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., with a short Scripture reading at 6:00 p.m., at the Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home in Rochester, MN. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 23, at 2:00 pm, with visitation one hour prior, at Cornerstone Baptist Church, in Pine Island, MN. Interment will be at the Pine Island Cemetery.
