Patricia Ann Olson

Patricia A. Olson (nee Robinson), 65, of Rochester, MN passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester. Patricia was born January 25, 1953 in St. Cloud, MN the daughter of A. Raymond and Lorraine (Theisen) Robinson. Patricia married William (Bill) Olson on December 1, 1990 and moved to Rochester in 1996. Patricia cared deeply for her family and adored her grandchildren. She had a big heart and strong faith. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School and served as Chairman of the Hospitality Committee. She was a leader for Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, and served as Chairperson for the annual Burnsville Fire Muster. She also enjoyed scrapbooking, crafts, and hardanger. Patricia most recently worked at John Marshall High School where she touched the lives of many students. She is survived by her husband, Bill Olson of Rochester; five children, Jacqui (Dave) Meany of White Bear Lake, Carrie (Brian) St. Clair of Shoreview, Michael (Tara Falsani) Olson of Edina, Chris (Joanie) Malecka of Detroit Lakes, Michelle Olson of Rochester; 14 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Tom and Bill. A memorial service will be held 11:00 Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Grace Lutheran Church, 800 E. Silver Lake Drive NE, Rochester, MN 55906. Visitation will be held 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Grace Lutheran Church and one hour prior to Wednesday's service.
