Patricia A. Holmes

On March 16, 2016, Patricia Anne Holmes went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Pat was born February 27, 1933 in Minneapolis to Axel and Otta (Haugerud) Hansen. On August 15, 1950, Pat married John Jack Holmes in Clear Lake, IA. She worked many years at The First Bank of Minneapolis which later became The First Bank of St. Paul. She was a devoted homemaker, wife and mother. Pat enjoyed sewing, knitting, ceramics, crossword puzzles and playing dominoes. Pat and Jack also enjoyed wintering in Mesa, AZ for over 31 years.Above all, Pat loved spending time with her family. She was a strong faithful woman of God and influenced her family and friends in their walk with the Lord. Pat is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Jack; daughters, Debra Holmes, Diane (Scott) Lindahl and Patty (Mark) Newman all of Pine Island; 10 grandchildren, Michael Kurilla, Matthew (Tiffany) Kurilla, John (Angie) Lindahl, Jason (Val) Lindahl, Christina (Justin) Kee, Nicole Stone, Bethany (Brad Rehling) Newman, Matthew Newman, Tricia Newman and Jackie Newman; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Hansen and brothers, Jim (Carol) Hansen and John Hansen. Pat was preceded in death by her infant daughter, brother, William Hansen; sister, Carol Chalich and her parents, Axel and Otta. A memorial service will be held 11:00AM Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the Rochester Assembly of God Church, 4240 18th Ave. NW, Rochester. Visitation will be held 4:00-7:00PM Friday, March 18, 2016 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester and one hour prior to the service at the church. The Rev.
