Pamela "Pam" Kay O'Reilly

ROCHESTER -Pamela Pam K. O'Reilly, 58, died on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Rochester Methodist Hospital in Rochester. Pam was born in Sioux Falls, SD on September 12, 1955 to Willard and Marlys (Tysland) Ambur.She graduated from Beresford High School in Beresford, SD in 1973 and attended the University of South Dakota Vermillion for Nursing.Pam worked as a registered nurse at St. Marys Emergency Room Department for 32 years.Pam married Geary O'Reilly on November 20, 1976 in Rochester.She enjoyed traveling, shopping, her bunko group, and sports, especially attending her boy's sporting events.Pam loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed. Pam is survived by her husband of 37 years, Geary; five children, Jeremy (Kristin) O'Reilly, of Rochester, Brian (Ellery Crace) O'Reilly, of New Hope, MN, Brandon O'Reilly, of Rochester, Jared O'Reilly, of Rochester, and Benjamin O'Reilly, of Rochester; six grandchildren, Mazie, Tayten, Calvin, Mack, Aislin, and Hadley; her mother, Marlys, of Beresford, SD; two siblings, Paula (Wayne) Gunderson, of Baltic, SD, and Perry (Janet) Ambur, of Beresford, SD; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Pam is preceded in death by father, Willard, and her grandparents. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, January 20, 2014 at Church of the Resurrection (1600 11th Avenue SE).Visitation will be from 2-5 P.M. on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home and an hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will take place at St. Columbkill's Catholic Church Cemetery in Belle Creek Township.
