Oma Leora Rabehl

Oma L. Rabehl, 92, of Rochester, MN passed away Friday, January 20, 2017 at Maple Manor Nursing Home. Oma Leora Thorson was born August 13, 1924 in Ostrander, MN to Carl and Dena (Solsrud) Thorson. She graduated from LeRoy High School and worked in Austin, MN. for Kresges Department Store until moving to Rochester, MN. and worked for Sears and the Olmsted County court house in the registered deeds department. Oma married Francis Rabehl on November 2, 1952 in Ostrander, MN. She enjoyed gardening, baking, cooking and belonged to the womens circle at Trinity Lutheran Church. Oma is survived by a sister, Eleanor Bergland of Burnsville, MN. and brother Wayne (Janelle) Thorson of Ostrander, MN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis in 2002 and one sister. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church (222 6th Avenue SW Rochester, MN) The Reverend Nathan Schwartz will be officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
