Nora Emma Keller

ROCHESTER - Nora Emma Keller passed away at Maple Manor Nursing Home on March 27, 2010. Nora was born in Winona on March 29, 1911 to Gustave and Tina (Schutte) Harders. She graduated from High School in Chicago. While living in Chicago she met Rudolph Keller and later married him on November 24, 1940 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Rochester. She worked for Mayo Clinic for 8 years. Nora then raised her family and went to work for JC Penney where she retired after 15 years of service. Nora was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church for 72 years where she taught Sunday school and was involved in the Ladies Aid. Nora is survived by two sons: James (Sharon) of Quincy, Illinois and Thomas of Rochester. Five grandsons: Daniel Keller, Mark (Jennifer) Keller, Andrew (Priscilla) Keller, Alan (Misty) Keller, and Jeremiah Janning. She is also survived by 8 great grand children: Michael, Katherine, Kylee, Katrina, Kaiden, Brody, Blake and Brooklyn Keller. Nora was preceded in death by her husband Rudolph, who passed away on October 12, 1977. She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Clarence Harders and Marvin Harders, and two sisters: Irene Conrad and Gladys Mundfrom. A Funeral Service will be at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, (869 7th Avenue SE, Rochester 55904) with Dr. James W. Heining officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 P.M. on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home and one hour before the service at the church. Burial will take place at Grandview Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Redeemer Lutheran Church.
