Neal W. Tabler

ORONCO, MN:Neal W. Tabler, 73, died on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Minnesota Veterans Homes, Silver Bay, MN. Neal was born on February 20, 1940 to William and Hilda (Larsen) Tabler in Rochester, MN. Neal graduated from high school in 1958. In 1967,Neal was too old to be drafted and enlisted in the army to serve in the Vietnam War. He was always proud of his service to his country and devoted supporter of the military. Neal held a variety of jobs before retiring as a maintenance man for the Rochester Park and Recreation Department. He enjoyed pheasant hunting, old movies, target shooting, and detailing his prized pickup. Neal is survived by a son from a previous marriage and a sister. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Grandview Memorial Gardens with military honors.
