Milton H. Bethke

ROCHESTER: MINN. Milton H. Bethke, 88, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Maple Manor Rehabilitation and Care Center. Milton was born November 23, 1924 in Rochester to Henry and Elsie (Singfiel) Bethke. He grew up and worked on his family farm. On August 1, 1948, Milton married Evadeen Smith and she precedes him in death. In October 2002, Milton married Shelly Davis. Milton was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He enjoyed watching TV but most of all he loved spending time with his family. Milton is survived by his wife, Shelly; sister, Marilyn, Goodman of Stewartville; stepdaughters, Christina Ellenberger of Rochester, Carrie (Mikey) Monahan of Salem, OH; step-grandchildren, Shelby and Mikey; niece, Kim (Garth) Johnston; nephew, Chad (Celena) Goodman and great nephew, Carson Goodman. Milton was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Elsie; first wife, Evadeen; daughter, Marcia Rasmussen; sister, Gladys and brother, Paul. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 19, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church 222 6th Ave SW, Rochester. Visitation will be held 4:00-7:00 PM Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester and one hour prior to the service at the church. Rev. Joel Haak will be officiating with interment at Oakwood Cemetery.
