Milo G. Lowe, 68, of Zumbrota, MN died Friday, April 6, 2018 at Minneapolis VA Health Systems. Milo Gordon Lowe was born March 8, 1950 to Seth and Marvel (Stevens) Lowe in Denver, CO. He grew up in the Mabel area and attended Mabel-Canton High School. He enlisted in the United States Navy from 1969-1971 and the Naval Reserves until 1975. Milo continued to live in Mabel and worked as a carpenter. He was union carpenter, retiring in 2013. He worked on many bridges in Southern MN while employed by Minnowa Construction out of Harmony, MN. He lived in Zumbrota for the past 20 years. His favorite project was as the foreman in charge of moving the Covered Bridge in Zumbrota. Milo was a lifetime member of the Vietnam Veterans of America. He enjoyed playing Fish Wrangler on Facebook and hanging out with his best bud and cat, Tom Tom. Milo is survived by his children, Heather (Matt) Bowers of Rogers, MN, Jason (Natalie) Lowe of Minneapolis, MN and Season Lowe of Saint Cloud, MN; seven grandchildren; his siblings, Leighton (Diane) Storlie of Brighton, CO, Marcellla (Ron) Kimminau of Golden, CO, Sarah (Marvin) Cavender of Peach Tree, GA and Fred Storlie of Mabel, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Susie. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes. Visitation will take place from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery with full Military Honors.
