Mildred A. Moe, "Millie" 80, of Rochester, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at her home. Millie was born July 16, 1938 in Chatfield, MN to John and Evelyn (Wondrash) Hisey. On August 8, 1959, Millie married Eldon Moe in Chatfield. She worked at The Holiday Inn downtown Rochester in housekeeping for numerous years. Millie also worked in the catalogue department at Sears and enjoyed doing demos at various grocery stores. Millie enjoyed genealogy, woodworking, sewing, knitting and crocheting and tending to her flower and vegetable gardens. She also loved fishing, camping and keeping up with friends and relatives. Millie stayed active with the flower club in Rochester, being an election judge every year, the ladies aid at West St. Olaf Lutheran Church and a member of Bethel Lutheran Church. She was an independent, social and giving of her time. Millie was very family oriented and loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much. Millie is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Donald) Fuller of Kasson; son, Jeffrey Moe of Rochester; grandchildren, Stephanie (Matthew) Barnett of Rochester, Jennifer (Dan) Nelson of Pea Ridge, AR; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Annabelle Nelson, Dietrich Barnett and her siblings, Millecent "Millie" (Ray) Hisey, Melvin (Dora) Hisey, Marilyn Baker, Marie Ragland and Mavis (Jerry) Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon; son, Duane and her sister, Marjorie Dorholt. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Bethel Lutheran Church, 810 3rd Ave. SE, Rochester. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. The Rev. Dr. Norman Wahl will be officiating with burial at West St. Olaf Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Eagles Cancer Telethon.
