Mildred "Milly" Lillian Hoffman

ROCHESTER -Mildred Milly L. Hoffman, 85, died on Friday, May 18, 2012 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. Milly was born inEyota, MN on December 19, 1926 to Herman and Lillian (Lahmers) Koch.She married Vernoid Hoffman on November 4, 1950 in Plainview, MN.Milly worked at several businesses in Rochester until retiring from Electro Assemblies in 1991 as a supervisor.She enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, dancing, playing cards, watching the Vikings, making flower arrangements and tending to her many plants.She also enjoyed making an occasional trip to the casino.Most of all, Milly loved being with her family and friends and was especially proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren and being part of their special activities. Mildred is survived by three children, Donna (Edward) Laut, of Lawrence, KS, Gloria Conlan, of Eyota, MN, and Char (Thomas) Claude, of Rochester; four grandchildren, Angie (Chris) Cary, of Rochester, Emily (Nick) Mosher, Lawrence, KS, Andy (Ranae Grenier) Conlan, of Stewartville, and Jeff Claude, of Rochester; and two great grandchildren, Xander and Willow of Stewartville, MN. Mildred is preceded in death by her husband, Vernoid; her parents; three brothers; two sisters; and an infant daughter. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Bauch officiating.Visitation will be from 5-7 P.M. on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home and an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.Interment will take place at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
