Michael "Mike" J. Summerfield

ROCHESTER -Michael Mike J. Summerfield, 35, died on Monday, April 30, 2012 with his family at his side at Rochester Methodist Hospital. Mike was born in Lancaster, CA on October 20, 1976 to James and Donna (Schiefelbein) Summerfield.He graduated from Hudson High School in Wisconsin in1995.Mike then graduated from University of Southern California in 1999 with a Bachelor of Business and Finance Degree.He lived in Los Angeles and worked for Pacific Investment Management Company as a financial analyst before moving back to MN in 2003.Mike enjoyed playing pool, darts, mini golf, swimming, working out at the YMCA, and staying close with his friends. Mike is survived by his parents, James and Donna. Mike is preceded in death by his grandparents, Norman and Rae Summerfield, and Adolph and Mila Schiefelbein. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Victory Baptist Church, 606 36th Avenue SE, with Rev. Darrel Mohler officiating.Visitation will be from 4-7 P.M. on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home and an hour prior to the service at the church.Burial will take place at 3:00 P.M. at Oak Grove Cemetery in East Farmington, WI.
