Meyer Diamond

ROCHESTER, MINN: Meyer Diamond, 83, passed away Monday, June 20, 2011. Meyer was born February 2, 1928 in St. Paul, MN to David and Ann (Stein) Diamond. On January 18, 1959, Meyer married Gael Knauer in Rochester. Meyer received his Bachelors Degree from the University of Minnesota and was a veteran, proudly serving in the US Army. He managed Snyder Pharmacy for many years in Rochester and was a founding member of B'nai Israel Synagogue. Meyer is survived by his son, Jay Diamond and wife Diana of Winter Park, FL and daughter, Sherrill Diamond of New Bridge, MN. Meyer was preceded in death by his loving wife, Gael; parents; 2 brothers and a sister. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester, with Rabbi Michelle Werner officiating.
