Max R. Mcconaughey

Max Riley McConaughey, 21, of Rochester, MN. died unexpectedly on Friday, January 1, 2016. Max was born December 13, 1994 in Rochester, MN to Larry and Lisa (Lee) McConaughey.He graduated from Century High School in 2013.Max worked for Hunt Drug Store in Rochester as well as Carrolls Cup in the Kahler Hotel and Jimmy Johns Restaurant in Rochester.He enjoyed biking and repairing bikes, learning how to play the guitar, working on computers and playing board games.Max enjoyed hanging out with family and friends. He is survived by his parents, Larry and Lisa of Rochester; brother Kyle McConaughey of Colorado Springs, CO., sister Kristi (Steven) House of Rochester, MN, sister Nicole (Tony) Gadicke of Rochester, MN., brother Dillon McConaughey of Rochester; girlfriend Alexis Suydam and her son Riley Suydam of Rochester; maternal grandmother Marilyn Lee of Rochester and paternal grandmother Arlene (Neil) Grover of Browerville, MN.He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Dean McConaughey and maternal grandfather Richard Lee. A funeral service will be held 1:00pm Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Grace Lutheran Church800 East Silver Lake Dr. NE in Rochester with Reverend Gregory Heidorn officiating.Visitation will be held 5:00- 8:00 p.m.Monday, January 4, 2016 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes in Rochester and 1 hr. prior to the service on Tuesday at the church.Interment will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens, Rochester, MN.
