Marylou Hodge

MaryLou Hodge, 89, of Kasson, MN. passed away Friday, February 24, 2017, at Rochester Health Services West from a short sudden illness. MaryLou was born November 3, 1927 in Elgin, MN to John McFarland and Mae Liebenow. She was very active and always wanted to be on the go. Her favorite pastimes included watching any and all animal shows with cats and dogs and was always ready to go shopping, browsing or trying out a new restaurant. Because of her love for animals her daily chore was feeding the birds, rabbits and squirrels. After her move from Rochester to Kasson, she enjoyed redecorating her new townhouse and met wonderful neighbors. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother and would always put her family first before herself. She is survived by her son Gary (Annette) Hodge of Mantorville, MN and a host of grandchildren. MaryLou was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, sister Corrine McFarland (Rochester, MN), brother Jim McFarland (Rochester), daughter Kelly Hamer, (Rochester, MN), and three sons, Michael, Tom and Scott, all from Rochester, MN. A family memorial service with inurnment in Grandview Memorial Gardens will be scheduled at a later date to be determined. Memorials may be designated to Camp Companion P.O.
