Mary Radil

Mary Lou Radil, of Rochester, MN, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world at the age of 85, on March 18, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Mary's Campus.

Mary was born to Frank and Matilda (True) Berndt on April 23, 1938, in Rochester, MN. She graduated from Rochester High School in 1956 and worked at Warrell Hospital as an elevator assistant. While dancing, Mary met her husband, William Radil, and on November 23, 1957, the couple were married. They then moved to Hayfield where she was a proud farm wife.

Mary served as a Daycare Provider for 10 years and was awarded Daycare Provider of Dodge County. She was a member and President of the Ladies Guild at Sacred Heart Church. After the passing of her husband, William, Mary moved to Rochester, MN, and worked at McDonald's for 24 years.

Mary loved to dance. She also enjoyed creating art, listening to music, reading, gardening, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her sons, William (Diane) Radil, and Terry (Rita) Radil; daughters, Connie Jean Radil, and Debra (Kevin) Murphy; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and sister, Angie Prescott.

A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am on Friday, March 22, 2024, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes (5421 Royal Pl. NW, Rochester, MN 55901). Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. A private family burial will take place at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester.
