Mary Louise (Brewer) Bell passed peacefully through heavens gates on the morning of March 19, 2015.Her long battle with Alzheimers/Dementia finally ended, as she gracefully finished her race.She was 85 years old. Mary was born on November 16, 1929 in Lockport, New York.Her parents were Howard and Margaret Brewer.Mary had a Bachelors in Science from Michigan State University, and a Masters in Theology from Iliff School of Theology in Denver, Colorado, where she met and married her husband, Alvin W. Bell. Mary worked at Farmer Seed and Nursery for 20 years.She played piano by ear, and was a poet and artist, creating her own line of Carter Cardinal Cards which she sold at The Turquoise Shop.She loved people and sharing the gospel with them.Her greatest gift was in praying for people, which she did faithfully for many years.She also loved to work outside in the garden, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Mary is survived by her brother Clint of San Antonio, TX; son Paul Bell, Rochester, MN; daughter Priscilla (Timothy) Kramer, Rochester, MN, three grandsons, Philip Lozensky and Alex Lozensky, Minot, ND; Benjamin Lozensky, Rochester, MN; one granddaughter, Christine Kramer, Texas; a nephew, John Brewer, Newfane, NY; and niece Terry Gibson and great-niece Laura Smith, San Antonio, TX.She is proceeded in death by her parents, husband Alvin W. Bell, and nephew David Brewer. Pastor Dwight LaPine will officiate Marys Memorial Service at Calvary Baptist Church, located at 5905 Silas Dent Road, Rochester, MN, 55901 on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 1:00 p.m.There will be a reception following the service in the fellowship hall.Interment will be at Fort Snelling at a later date.Memorials may be sent to 1605 41st St NW, Apt.
