Marsha Jo Campbell

Marsha J. Campbell, 75, of Rochester, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at her home. Marsha Jo Riddle was born May 13, 1937 in Rutherfordton, NC.She moved with her family from North Carolina to Rochester, MN in 1951.She married Gerald Campbell on November 14, 1954 at Baptist Church in Rochester.In 1962, Marsha began working at the Continental Baking Company and later she managed their thrift store.She retired after 45 years.Marsha volunteered with the Girl Scouts and Jobs Daughters.She enjoyed collecting snowmen and bird houses, gardening and traveling. Marsha is survived by her husband, Gerald of Rochester; 3 children, Ed (Kyra) of Rochester, Jerri (Scott) Lecy of Rochester, and Brenda Watkins of Zumbrota, MN; 6 grandchildren, Joseph Borchardt, Stephanie Leonard, Brianna Oliver, Alexandra Steege, Hannah Watkins, and Mitchel Watkins; 5 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Sonny (Charlotte) Riddle of Rochester and Kevin Riddle of Colorado; 3 sisters, Faye (Joe) Brinkman of Lake City, MN, Donna (Troy) Field of Browerville, MN and Alice (George) Gonzales of Colorado; and son-in-law, Steve Borchardt of Rochester.She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Cindy Borchardt; sister, Jerri Frances; and an infant granddaughter. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes Chapel with the Reverend Nancy Wheeler Handlon officiating.Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.Burial will be held at a later date.
