Funeral services for Marjorie J. Tvedt, 92, of Rochester, MN will be at 11:00am on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Zumbro Lutheran Church with Rev. Lisa Kipp officiating.Burial will be at East St. Olaf Cemetery.Visitation will be from 5:00 7:00pm on Friday, December 19, 2014 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes and also one hour prior to the service at the church. Marjorie Jane Amundson was born on September 30, 1922 in Hayfield, MN to Howard and Bernice (Myster) Amundson.She died on December 17, 2014 at Golden Living East in Rochester. Marjorie grew up on the family farm near Hayfield, MN.She attended Country School through 8th grade and graduated from Hayfield High School in 1941.She married Everett T. Tvedt on June 26, 1948 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hayfield.Marjorie worked for Mayo Clinic as a lab technician, First National Bank, Andersons Formal Wear and drove cars for auto dealers after her retirement.She was a member of Zumbro Lutheran Church and the Sons of Norway.She enjoyed dancing with Everett, antiquing, snowmobiling, driving cars and music. Survivors include her daughter, Nancy J. Tvedt of Rochester, MN; nine nieces, two nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, Lois Vorba, one brother, John Amundson, three sister-in-laws and four brother-in-laws.
