ROCHESTER - Marilyn Jean Keehn, 87, died of leukemia on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Seasons Hospice in Rochester. Marilyn was born in Atlantic, IA on October 17, 1924 to Kenneth and Gladys (Brownlee) Prall. She married Arthur Keehn in Miami, FL in 1942. She was an avid card player, particularly enjoying bridge. She also enjoyed golf and bowling and in her youth was a skilled roller skater. She was a longtime member of the Order Eastern Star, Mayo Friendship Club and Peace United Church of Christ. She was employed by the Mayo Clinic for 32 years. Marilyn is survived by a son, Terry (Patricia) Keehn, of Novato, CA; two grandchildren Abigail (Kevin) O'Brien of Petaluma, CA and Ted (Jessica) Keehn of Novato CA and five great grandchildren. Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arthur; and a brother, Carroll. Her husband Arthur died on the same day exactly 30 years earlier. The family appreciates the wonderful care provided by Seasons Hospice and by Dr. Alexandra Wolanskyj and her staff at the Mayo Clinic and by her numerous close friends who assisted her in so many ways during her last months.
