Marie Kathryn Ranfranz

Marie Kathryn Ranfranz was born October 16,1937 to Hugh and Blanche (Freml) McCullough in Ida Grove, Iowa. The family lived in Iowa, South Dakota, California and then moved back to Watertown, SD, where Marie graduated from Watertown High School. Marie attended Radiology Technician training in Minneapolis, MN in 1955 at Minneapolis General Hospital. She married Carl W. Ranfranz Jr. in 1960 and moved to Rochester, MN where she has lived for the past 60 years. She worked as a Radiology Technician at the Mayo Clinic specializing in mammography. Marie enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, gardening and learning about her family's ancestry.

Marie is survived by her children: Daughters: Lynn M McFarling, Cynthia K Ranfranz (Carl) and Carleen A Ranfranz; Sons: Michael R (Kelly) Ranfranz, Patrick T (Cherie) Ranfranz and Timothy J Ranfranz; twelve grandchildren; Dylan (Katie), Kelsey (Jason), Taylor, Kayla (Patrick), Lauren (Spencer), Lindsey (Theo), Christian (Carly), Kathryn, Tom (Becca), Josh, Genna (Adam) and Liam; five great grandchildren; Emma, Micah, Bryce, Quinn and Charlie;

siblings, Kathy Link, William (Sharon) McCullough and sister-in-law, Esther McCullough.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Carl, and siblings, Joseph "Matt" (Dorthy), Mary (died in infancy), Hugh "Bud" (Maxine), Lyle (Mardell), John "Jack" (Killed in Action WWII), Earl (Esther), Robert (Majorie), Floyd (Betty), Lloyd (died in infancy) and Marilyn (William).

Private services will be held at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral home in Rochester MN on November 22, 2023 and burial will be private at Calvary Cemetery in Rochester, MN.
