Marian Wilke

Marian Ruth Wilke, 94, of Rochester, MN died on Saturday, March 29, 2025 surrounded by her loving family at St. Mary's Hospital Mayo Clinic Campus.

Marian was born September 13, 1930, to Albin and Albie (Skerik) Kadlec in Chatfield, MN.

Marian graduated from Chatfield High School as class valedictorian in 1948. She went on to attend Rochester Community College. On June 15, 1957, she married Myron Wilke at Pioneer Presbyterian Church in Chatfield, MN. Marian worked as an executive secretary at Rochester Dairy prior to her becoming a homemaker.

Marian enjoyed cooking and sewing, traveling and camping. She was an active long-time member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Marian is survived by her sons, Mark Wilke of Bloomington, MN and Brad Wilke of Randolph, MN; her granddaughter, Christiana Wilke of Bloomington, MN. She is preceded in death by Myron, her husband of 62 years, her parents and brother, Paul Kadlec.

The family would like to thank Rev. Robert Lentz for his many visits and prayers, and Elder Network for all of the loving care their drivers provided for Marian.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 222 6th Ave SW, Rochester, with Rev. Robert Lentz officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
