Marian Ruth Cyrus

ROCHESTER -Marian R. Cyrus, 86, died on Monday, March 4, 2013 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. Marian was born in Nevis, MN on April 26, 1926 to Floyd and Olive (Robinson) Perry.She married Gordon Cyrus on November 15, 1945 in Minneapolis. Marian is survived by her husband of 67 years, Gordon; four children, Leslie Kaye, of Wilsonville, OR, Larry (Joy) Cyrus, of Fountain City, WI,Dennis (Julie) Cyrus, of Farmington Hills, MI, and Kim Cyrus, La Crescent, MN; fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.We will all miss her dearly. Marian is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jim and Dick; and two sons, Gene Cyrus, of Prineville, OR and Jeffrey Cyrus, of Rockford, IL. A Celebration of Marian's Life will held at a later date (to be announced). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be directed to the American Diabetes Association. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the amazing staff at St. Marys Hospital and to all our friends and family for their thoughts and prayers.
