Marcus A. Martin, Jr.

Marcus A. Martin Jr, age 28, of Rochester, MN passed away unexpectedly on June 15, 2024 in Rochester, MN.

Marcus Antwan Martin, Jr. was born August 30, 1995 in Chicago, Illinois. Marcus accepted Christ at an early age and join Zion Baptist Church in South Holland, IL. He attended Pathway Christian Academy in Harvey, IL. In 2013, he moved to Rochester, MN and worked as a manager at Domino's Pizza. He also helped his family with landscaping projects and work at the house.

Marcus enjoyed life to the fullest with his carefree, happy-go-lucky spirit. He loved listening to music and watching movies. He was very giving and always put others first. He will be deeply missed. His dad loved him dearly, no matter what, and was always there for him.

He is survived by his parents, Marcus Sr. and Michelle Martin; mother, Tracey Quinn; daughter, Amari; siblings, Shaun, Juan, and Michael; step-siblings, Montez, Margarita, Jimmie, and Jalaina; grandmother, Jacqueline Jones (Granny); aunt, Aerianne Jones; best friends, Tyrell, Anthony, and Cassadine of Illinois; along with his great-grandmother, aunt, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Jones.
