Man-Mei Nadine Su

On Saturday, November 25, 2023 Dr. Man-Mei Nadine Su, a beloved wife and mother of two, went to be with our Lord. She was seventy-seven years old.  Born to Chi-Chuan Lee and Luan  Liu in Pingtung City, Taiwan, Man-Mei was the youngest of 11 children. She graduated from National Taiwan University, College of Medicine with high honors. She completed her internship at Kuakini Medical Center in Honolulu, HI, and finished her residency in Diagnostic Radiology and fellowship in Neuroradiology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. During the beginning of her medical school, she met Wen-Po Daniel Su through a mutual pastor in Taiwan, and they were married in Honolulu in 1971.

Man-Mei loved the Lord passionately, and with Wen-Po and the Wong family they started the Rochester Chinese Christian Fellowship in 1972 with the purpose to gather with fellow believers in worship and the study of the Word. The Lord added to their number over the subsequent decades, and eventually the group became the Rochester Minnesota Chinese Church. She was faithful in leading Bible studies and worship and was instrumental in pointing many non-Christians to the Lord by her words and her life.

Man-Mei placed the highest priority on family, sacrificing her medical career to raise her son and daughter full-time. She had a big heart for placing others’ needs before her own, and this was evidenced by her generosity with her money, time and resources to the local community and international Church. She also was a faithful and diligent prayer warrior, interceding for her family and friends daily. Not one to be outdone by her five sisters, she also found great joy in finding the absolute best shopping deals and maximizing every coupon to its fullest potential. She enjoyed life and had a heart-warming laugh. Most importantly, she loved her family and was always quick to express her love through words and big hugs.
