Madeline L. Stebbins

Madeline L. Stebbins, 92, of Rochester, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at her home. Madeline was born November 30, 1924 in Sioux City, IA to Edmond and Rose Jensen. On November 11, 1944, Madeline married George Stebbins in St. Charles, MN. Madeline worked as a bookkeeper at Snyder Drugs for over 24 years. She enjoyed playing bingo and riding and traveling the country by motorcycle with her husband George. Madeline and George spent 21 years wintering in Arizona where Madeline was also a member of the Red Hatters Club. She cherished most spending time with her family. Madeline is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, George; sons, George R. Stebbins of Las Vegas, NV, Bob Stebbins of Rochester; grandchildren, Derek (Lisa) Stebbins, Rheanna (Will) Ruiz, Samara Stebbins, David Stebbins and 9 great-grandchildren. Madeline was preceded in death by her parents and numerous brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, May 5, 2017 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until time of services.
