ROCHESTER:Mackenzie M. Higgins, age 9, of Rochester, MN died Sunday, November 23, 2014 in Rochester, MN. Mackenzie Marie Higgins was born on January 14, 2005 to Brad and Pam (Bruen) Higgins.Mackenzie attended elementary school in Stewartville where she loved her teachers and friends. She also enjoyed Tiger Time where she went afterschool. She enjoyed her family, playing outside especially in snow and golfing with dad and bompa.She always liked learning new things and reading.She loved animals especially her kitties Midnight and Z. Mackenzie is survived by her mother, Pam of Rochester; her maternal grandparents, James and Judy Bruen of Rochester. Bob Higgins of Rochester, her paternal grandfather. Her siblings Jesse Higgins and, Ashley Higgins of Stewartville, Zach Higgins and Lyndsey Higgins of Rochester.Her uncle Jim and Aunt DianeBruenof Austin.Uncle Jesse Jon Higgins and Aunt Kayla Simpson of Rochester.Aunt Brenda DenHartog of Albert Lea.Aunt Megan Logan of Byron.Cousins Jackie, Jimmy, and Johnny. She is preceded in death by paternal grandmother Nancy Higgins and cousin Deej Logan. There will be a funeral service on Monday, December 1, 2014 at Calvary Episcopal Church (111 3rd Avenue SW) starting at10 am .Visitation will be Sunday, November 30, 2014 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church.Burial will take place atOakwoodCemetery.
