Lynn Sherwood Anderson

ANDERSON Lynn Sherwood Anderson, 77, of Mantorville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at the Minneapolis Veterans Home. Lynn was born October 5, 1940 in Albert Lea to Victor and Irene (Zabel) Anderson. Lynn entered the United States Navy in October of 1957, and proudly served his country until 1971. He married Delores Purdue in Rochester and they later divorced. Lynn married Judy Galbraith on May 14, 1988. After leaving the Navy, Lynn returned to Kasson to run Kasson Concrete Products for his father until 2002. He was a member of the V.F.W. in Rochester, and the Byron American Legion. Lynn loved woodworking, working with steel, reading and his dogs. He is survived by his wife, Judy of Mantorville; children, Deb (Charles) Gearhart of Rochester, Melanie (Bard) Stadsvold of Rochester, Michael Anderson of Glendale, AZ; stepchildren, Tamela Kuehn Mosca of Clayton, CA., Chad Kuehn of Austin, MN., Brad Kuehn of Rochester; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and sister, Marlene Overgaard of Albert Lea, MN. Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Irene and by his sister, Barbara Baker. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester.
