Lynn Graham

Lynn K. Graham, 59, of Rochester, MN died on Friday, August 16th at the Owatonna Hospital.

Lynn was born on June 17th, 1965 in Owatonna to Lyle "Slats" and Lise (Fineid) Papenfuss. She graduated from Mayo High School in 1983, was on the Mayo High School Tennis team, and made it to the state tennis tournament. She enjoyed tennis very much. She then went to the University of Wisconsin - Stout where she played tennis. She started working as a flight attendant for U.S. Air, where she met her future husband, Alan Graham. They were married August 5th, 1989 in Rochester. Together they had two boys, Connor and Cole.

The couple lived in Rochester, and Lynn was very active in her boys' lives with all of their sports. She was very involved with USTA Tennis. She and her family enjoyed going to the house in Lake City and trips to Norway. Lynn loved animals. She was a very kind and caring person.

Lynn is survived by her mother Lise Papenfuss; brother Lance (Kristine Fjerstad) Papenfuss; mother-in-law Noretta Graham; nephews Tore, Jack, and Brodie Papenfuss; uncles and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband Alan Graham; father Lyle "Slats" Papenfuss; sons Connor and Cole Graham; father-in-law James Graham; maternal grandparents Tore and Signe Finied; paternal grandparents Howard and Winnie Papenfuss.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Lisa Kottke and Jean Gustafson for all of their care and kindness.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 5th, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Bethel Lutheran Church (810 3rd Ave SE) in Rochester. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Paws and Claws of Rochester and Seasons Hospice.
