Lyle Hinrichs

Lyle Elray Hinrichs of Red Wing, MN passed away on Saturday June 8, 2024 at the age of 79. He was born on September 2, 1944 in Hasting, NE. Lyle grew up in Glenvil, NE on the family farm.

Lyle and Glenda were married on January 22, 1965 in Glenvil, NE. They then moved to Rochester, MN where they became a part of the community and raised their family.

Lyle graduated from Kearney State College in Kearney, NE with his Bachelors in Finance and then went on to complete his Master of Business Administration from University of South Dakota in Vermillion.

After completing his schooling, Lyle worked as the Business Planning Manager at IBM for his entire career.

Lyle was passionate about his family, fishing, hunting, golfing, gardening and traveling.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ervin and Estella Hinrichs.

He is survived by his spouse Glenda, sons Eric (Danielle) of Anchorage, AK, and Daniel (Carri) of Otsego, MN and grandchildren Ari Hinrichs of Florida, Abby Hinrichs of Minneapolis, Elise Hinrichs of Minneapolis and Sister Beth Pavelka of Shell Knob, Missouri.

The family would like to thank the Red Wing Police Department for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester, MN on Friday June 14, 2024 from 4-7pm. He will be buried at the Glenvil Cemetery in Glenvil, NE on Thursday, June 20th, 2024 with a memorial reception following at the Glenvil, NE American Legion at 4pm.
