Lucille Schroeder

Lucille M. Schroeder, 83, of Rochester, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Edenbrook of Rochester. Lucille was born September 5, 1935 in Olmsted County to Walter and Mabel (Gusa) Berg. She was raised in the Plainview and Elgin area. On August 2, 1958 in Elgin, MN she married Lorence Schroeder. Lucille loved to dance, especially waltzes and polkas. She was a meticulous homemaker, loved socializing and going for coffee with her friends. Lucille was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. Lucille is survived by her brother, Ervin (Eileen) Berg; sisters, Lois Holter and Irene Kavitz; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Lorence; brother, Gary and by her parents, Walter and Mabel. A funeral to celebrate Lucille's life will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 1212 12th Ave. NW, Rochester, MN. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. Rev. Dr. Charles Ortloff will be officiating with interment at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
