ROCHESTER, MINN:Lucille A. Diekhoff,94,died Monday, September 24, 2012at Samaritan Bethany Home on 8th. Lucille Alice Antisdel was born October 6, 1917 to Henry and Martha (Miller) Antisdel in Milford, IA. She graduated from Milford High School in 1935. She attended the University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA and graduated from the Kahler School of Nursing, Rochester, MN in 1939. She worked as a Registered Nurse at the Kahler Hospital. Lucille married Calvin Diekhoff on March 5, 1941 in Rochester, MN. Lucille served in the Army as a nurse during WWII on a hospital train in England. In 1945, she returned to Rochester and completed her training as a Nurse Anesthetist. She worked for Mayo Clinic as a Nurse Anesthetist in St. Marys and Rochester Methodist Hospitals until her retirement in 1979. She is survived by a nephew Philip ( Nancilee) Antisdel, Forest Lake, MN and a niece Mary (Donald) Askeland, Rochester, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers.
