Lowell Jensen

Lowell R. Jensen, 84, of Rochester, Mn died Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at Cottagewood Senior Communities. Lowell Robert Jensen was born October 22, 1935 to Joseph and Ella (Meyer) Jensen in Rochester, MN. He grew up and attended school in Byron. On November 5, 1961 he married Patty Law in Elgin, MN and the couple moved to Stewartville, MN. He drove truck for Benkin, Allied Van lines and North American. He also shuttled trucks for IBM. Patty died on November 28, 1995. He had resided at Cottagewood Senior Communities the past seven years. He enjoyed playing cards, gambling, wildlife, chewing gum, and going for long Sunday drives. Lowell is survived by his daughters, Cindy (Daniel) Vicker of Kasson, MN and Karen Jensen of Wabasha, MN; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy (Dave) Brown; and three brothers, Dale (Lucila) Jensen, Neal (Sandy) Jensen and Butch Jensen all of Rochester, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Patty; brother, Joe; daughter, Nancy; grandson, Josh; and special friend, Dawn Trogstad.
