Louise Marguerite Wetterlin

Louise Marguerite Wetterlin passed away at home in the loving arms of her family on Thursday April 21, 2022 in Rochester MN. Louise was born May 30, 1935 to Louis & Elsie (Miller) Hutchins in La Crosse WI. She graduated from La Crosse Central High School in 1952 and worked at Badger Corrugating. She married Donald Wetterlin on May 7, 1955 and they enjoyed nearly 67 years together. The couple had four children and Louise left the workforce to raise them. She returned to work in 1969 as secretary to the Superintendent of Onalaska Public Schools. The family moved in late 1972 to Rochester MN and Louise was hired by IBM. She retired from IBM in 1991 as a product scheduler. Louise is survived by husband Donald; children Linda, Tamara Meade, Donald (Donna), & Kari; her sister Carol Winther and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother John, and son-in-law David Meade. Many thanks to the staffs of the Mayo Care Transitions Program and Seasons Hospice for their compassionate care during the final years of Louise's life. Following cremation, Louise will be interned in Mormon Coulee Memorial Park outside La Crosse. Thanks to the caring staff of Ranfranz & Vine for their assistance.
