Lori Rime

Lori J. Rime, age 60, of Rochester, MN passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at her home surrounded by family, after several complications of pancreatic cancer.

She was born on September 9, 1963, in Virginia, Minnesota and was the second of three children to Richard S. Moore and Mary J. (Bauch) Moore. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Virginia, Minnesota in 1981. She then attended St. Scholastica in Duluth to pursue a degree in Nursing. After graduation, she moved to Eau Claire, Wisconsin and worked for a brief period as a nurse before moving to Rochester, Minnesota where she started her 38-year career as a Registered Nurse with Mayo Clinic.

Lori was a devoted mother, sister, daughter, and friend. She loved to host her friends and family, where she would always make the best lasagna and chocolate chip cookies. An avid reader, she was known to frequently finish a book in one sitting. There was nothing more that she enjoyed than a good glass of wine and a good laugh.

Lori is survived by her children Paul, Patrick, and Elizabeth, her dog Peter, grand puppy Stanley, mother Mary, sister Lisa (Todd) Smith, brother Michael Moore, and a niece and several nephews. Lori is preceded in death by her father, Richard.

Celebration of Life will be held from 3-5PM on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at the Ranfranz and Vine Remembrance and Reception Centre, 5482 Royal Place NW, Rochester, MN 55901.
