Private family graveside services for Lola J. Kaehn, 86, will be held at a later date.She selflessly donated her body to the Mayo Clinic Anatomy Department for Alzheimers research. Lola Jean Haglund was born on February 9, 1928 in Minneapolis, MN to Karl and Kristine (Johannson) Haglund.She died on November 4, 2014 at Cottagewood in Rochester with her three daughters by her side. Lola married Loren Kaehn on February 25, 1950 in Minneapolis, MN.In 1962 they moved to Rochester, MN and Lola worked in retail sales.She was a member of First Presbyterian Church andenjoyed gardening, antiques, crossword puzzles, reading and history. Survivors include her son Loren F. (Susan) Kaehn of Seattle, WA; her three daughters, Katherine A. Kaehn (ex husband, Dan Davey) of Austin, TX, Karen J. (Rick) Horsman of Rochester, MN and Kristine Tina H. Kaehn of Minneapolis, MN; eight grandchildren, Lonny Kaehn, Minneapolis, MN, Emily (Derik) Pearson, Aaron (Alison) Kaehn and Courtney (Brandon) Williams, all of Seattle, WA, Nicole (Troy) Davey-Lavalais, Angela (John) Davey-Castillo, both of Austin, TX, Heather (Matt) Rolbiecki and Christopher Jacobson, both of Rochester, MN; two step-grandchildren, Angela (Nate) Maser, Seattle, WA and Rick Horsman, Thomas, OK; fourteen great grandchildren; five step great grandchildren and one sister, Doris Olson of Denver, CO.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister and four brothers. Memorials are suggested to Seasons Hospice or the Alzheimers Association.
