Lois E. Fitzgerald

Lois Elizabeth Fitzgerald, 80, of Rochester, MN passed away on September 5, 2015 at Willow and Woods in Rochester.She was born on May 24, 1935 in St. Clair, MN to Clayton and Esther (Kuske) McComb. Lois lived in Mankato, MN until she graduated from Mankato High School.She worked as a secretary for the Athletic Department at RCC until her retirement in 1994.On July 9, 1955, she married Lowell C. Fitzgerald in Owatonna, MN.She enjoyed playing Bridge and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her son, Scott Fitzgerald of Rochester, MN; three grandchildren, Shannon (Curt) Brehmer of Hillsboro, OR, Ryan Fitzgerald of Eagan, MN and Alisa Fitzgerald of Rochester, MN; six great grandchildren, Kylie and Ellie Brehmer of Hillsboro OR, Leland Fitzgerald of Rochester, MN and Gabriel, Isabela and Camila Beniquez of Rochester, MN; her brother, Marlin (Kayrn) McComb of Eugene, OR and her sister, Audrey (Joe) Grecco of Naples, Maine; two nephews and one niece.She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse and a son, Keith. The family would like to express a heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Willows and Waters for their wonderful care of Lois. The family will have a private graveside service at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Owatonna, MN Memorials are suggested to Ronald McDonald House.
