Lila Ethelyn Eichinger

Rochester- A memorial service for Lila Eichinger, age 100, who died at St Marys Hospital on Thursday November 3, 2011, will be held at the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 921 W. Frontage Rd. SW., Rochester, MN on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. presided over by Armand Buelow. Lila E. Halling was born to Adolph and Hilda (Osterud) Halling, March 28, 1911 in Detroit Lakes, MN.As a child she moved with her family to Ostrander, MN. In 1925 she moved to Rochester, MN.She married William Eichinger, November 1, 1930.William was chief of maintenance at St. Marys Hospital.Lila was a homemaker and a stay at home mom for her children.She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses and she liked to cook, sew, visit with friends and fish with her husband.William died on October 28, 1992. Lila is survived by daughters, Joan M. Torrance (Kenneth) of Rochester, MN and Karen Eichinger of Rochester; sons, Tom Eichinger (Rhonda) of St. Peter, MN and Ronald Eichinger of Lebanon, Indiana; grandchildren, Linda Limpert, Carol Nemitz, Todd, Chad, Cory and Ryan Eichinger; and great grandchildren, Lisa and Alan Nemitz, Jennifer and Kyle Limpert.She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother.
