Leta M. Thomas

Leta Marcelline Thomas, 84, of Rochester passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Cottagewood Senior Communities in Rochester. Leta was born October 12, 1930 in Kensington, Kansas to Marsallis and Reta (DeWitt) Thomas.She spent most of her life in Wichita, Kansas and was a nurse at Wesley Hospital in Wichita. She lived in Rochester the last ten years.Leta enjoyed painting and was very religious in her Catholic faith. She is survived by two sisters, Gloria Murphy of Rochester, MN and Pauline Erickson of Wisconsin; and one brother, Robert Thomas of Washington.Leta was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Donald, and three sisters, Elizabeth, Patricia, and Dorothy. Services will be held next week in Wichita, Kansas with burial at Old Mission Wichita Park Cemetery in Wichita, Kansas.
