Leroy A. Kisrow

ROCHESTER: LeRoy A. Kisrow, 92, of Rochester, MN passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017, at his home. LeRoy was born August 22, 1924, to Leopold and Norma (Ziemann) Kisrow in Eyota Township, MN, which is now Chesterwoods Park. LeRoy graduated from Rochester High School. He married Remona Hebrink on October 6th, 1951, at the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Preston, Minnesota. LeRoys brother, Reverend Leo Kisrow performed their wedding ceremony. Leroy worked part time at Joy Brothers Packard Garage and then at Harolds Auto Electric, where he worked for 32 years. After retirement, he made deliveries for Southern Minnesota Air Freight and part time for Fiskdal Flowers. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, doing jigsaw puzzles and above all else spending time with his family. LeRoy is survived by his wife of 65 years, Remona; his children; Sharon (Steven) Spencer of Stanley, WI; Kevin (Brenda) Kisrow of Wabasha, MN; five grandchildren, Janna (Joel) Osofsky of Loveland, CO; Peter (Lara) Spencer of Fall Creek, WI; Loren (Sarah) Spencer of Chippewa Falls, WI; Clare (Eric) Bartels of LaCrosse, WI; and Susanna Spencer of Rochester, MN; eight great grandchildren; three brothers, LeVerne (Myrna) Kisrow of Andover, MN; Lowell (Kathy) of Minneapolis, MN; Loren (Shirleen) of California; and one sister, Linda Taylor of Tampa, FL. He is preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Deanne Kisrow; two brothers, Leo and Leland Kisrow; and one sister, Violet Bugarin. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Evangel United Methodist Church with Pastor Mark Rader officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. Burial will take place at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester, MN.
