Lawrence Vincent Coyne, Larry, 75, of Rochester, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, on Thursday, April 7, 2016. Larry was born June 13, 1940 in Rockford, IL to James and Mary (Keaty) Coyne. He worked for ABC for 10+ years. He was a member of Pax Christi Catholic Church and was amember of the Knights of Columbus, being a Fourth Degree Knight. Larry enjoyed reading, watching tv, going to movies, being in parades and traveling with his family to some of his favorite destinations of Branson, Vegas and the Wisconsin Dells. He was a huge sports fan and loved watching his beloved Bears, Cubs and Blackhawks. Larry was extremely patriotic and had a passion for western movies, especially John Wayne movies and a love of Elvis and Irish music. He was an enormous advocate for Hiawatha Homes and received the 5% Campaign Award. Larry loved Miller Lite, Pepsi and coffee but above all, Larry loved spending time with his family and friends. Larry is survived by his siblings, Jim (Martha) Coyne of Winterville, NC, Jack (Jane) Coyne of Beverly Hills, FL, Mary (Don) Brouillard of Stewartville, MN and Pat Coyne of Eugene, OR; 7 nieces; 10 nephews; 9 great-nieces; 6 great-nephews and too many cousins to count. Larry is also survived by his housemates, John, Kent, Megan, Darlene, Hulet; his entire Hiawatha Homes family and team and by his beloved dog, Val. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Coyne and nephew, Christopher. A funeral Mass will be held 11:00AM Monday, April 11, 2016 at Pax Christi Catholic Church, 4135 18th Ave. NW. Rochester, MN with Father Joseph Fogal officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00-6:00PM Sunday, April 10. 2016 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester and one hour prior to the service at the church. A rosary service will be held at 5:45PM on Sunday during visitation at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hiawatha Homes Foundation, 1820 Valkyrie Dr. NW, Rochester
