Lavon R. Potratz

ROCHESTER -LaVon R. Potratz, 86, died on Monday, June 10, 2013 at Cottagewood in Rochester. LaVon was born in Rochester on October 11, 1926 to Milton and Susan (Folkert) Yennie.She graduated from Rochester High School.LaVon was a lifelong Rochester resident and worked at Mayo for over 25 years.She enjoyed spending time with her family. LaVon is survived by a daughter, Susan Dixon, of Rochester; two grandchildren, Elizabeth (Lee) Timmerman, of Rochester, and Megan Dixon, of Rochester; and one great grandchild, Jordyn Timmerman. LaVon is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and seven sisters. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home.Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery.
