Laurie Ann Snyder

A memorial service for Laurie A. Snyder, 58, of Rochester, MN will be at 1:00pm on Friday, August 22, 2014 at Berean Community Church.Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00pm on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes and also 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Laurie Ann Snyder was born on July 5, 1956 to Eugene and Adeline (Malacek) Snyder.She passed away on August 17, 2014. Laurie graduated from Grand Meadow High School and Rochester Vo Tech.She retired from Mayo Clinic in 2013 after 37 years as a medical secretary.She volunteered for a few years at Seasons Hospice and was currently employed for them.She loved the outdoors and gardening, motorcyclingand painting.She enjoyed helping others and did volunteer work for Seasons Hospice and Bear Creek Christian Church. Survivors include her three children, Craig Meyer of Waukesha, WI, Anna Thorie of Lawrenceville, GA and Katie Thorie of Austin, TX; one granddaughter, Haley; her mother, Addie Snyder of Grand Meadow, MN and her sister, Kim (Russ) Bultman of Eufala, OK.She was preceded in death by her father and her brother, John.
