Laura K. Waters

Laura was born on October 3, 1960 in St. Louis Park, MN, to parents Clarence Graeber and Sherrin Graeber. She graduated from Cooper High School in New Hope. She then went onto Dunwoody College where she studied mechanics for a while. After that she went to MCAD Minneapolis College of Art & Design where she studied fine arts. After which she work at Super America as a manager. She then got a job at Marvin Windows where she was Susan Marvins right hand lady. She was in charge of Advertising and Marketing, where she worked for more than six years. She married Nathan Waters in July 24, 1982 . In 1987 Laura and her husband Nate decided to become their own bosses when they purchased Bluff Valley Campground in Zumbro Falls, MN. Laura was a great family woman and a loving mother. Laura was a social, active woman who was deeply involved in Bluff Valley Campground for the majority of her life. She enjoyed traveling, ceramics, painting, photography, and coming up with new ideas to grow her business. Her family and friends will always remember her as a go getter, no problem is too big, put everyone before herself person. Laura is survived by her husband Nathan Waters; and her sister Cris Johnson, and her three sons Adam (Danielle), Blake and Connor Waters; and her three grandchildren Drake, Mason and Jada Waters. She waspreceded in death by her Father Clarence Graeber and Mother Sherrin Graeber, of Minnesota. A funeral is scheduled for Laura, on Saturday April 18, 2015, at 1:00pm at Ranfranz & Vine Funeral Home, 5421 Royal Place NW., Rochester, with Pastor Dave Mohler officiating. Visitation will be held 4:00-7:00 PM Friday, April 17, 2015 and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Laura's life.
