Larry Huckins

Larry William Huckins, 67, of Mantorville, MN passed away peacefully, Monday, September 28, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Larry was born February 16, 1948 in Cresco, IA to John and Naomi (Gager) Huckins. Larry was a graduate of John Marshall High School. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. On November 14, 1987 in Rochester, Larry married Lori Woolley. Larry and Lori owned and operated L Vending. Larry enjoyed woodworking, fishing, camping, Sunday drives and he especially enjoyed gardening. Above all, Larry loved spending time and making memories with his family. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Lori; son, Darren (Elizabeth) Huckins of McGregor, IA; 6 grandchildren, Phillip, Shane, Heather, Nick, Kayla, Tonya; 4 great-grandchildren, Lance, Hailey, Angel and Clayton; 3 sisters, Virginia Bakken, Zelda (Dean) Majerus, Sonja Kolb and brother, Jerry Huckins. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, John and Naomi and by his brother, Stanley. A funeral service will be held 10:30AM Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place NW., Rochester. Chaplain Julie Beck will be officiating. Visitation will be held 5:00-8:00PM Friday, October 2, 2015 at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
