ZUMBRO FALLS -Larry F. Goodman, 72, died on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at his favorite lake in Northern Minnesota. Larry was born in Rochester on November 9, 1939 to Floyd and Leona (Goldbeck) Goodman.He was a farmer all of his life.Larry married Juanita White on August 30, 1958 in Oronoco.He was a lifelong member of Grace Lutheran Church in Oronoco.Larry enjoyed bowling and loved the outdoors including hunting deer and bear, fishing, snowmobiling, four wheeling, and spending time at the cabin up North.He especially loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. Larry is survived by his wife of 53 years, Juanita; three daughters, Cheryl (Gregory) Heppner, of Rochester, Brenda (Thomas) Daley, of Byron, and Kathy (Kevin) Grobe, of Zumbro Falls; five grandchildren, Cole and Conrad Heppner, Thyne and Nathan Daley, and Kayla Grobe; a great grandchild, Cooper Heppner; and six siblings, Julia (Earl, Jr.) LaBrash, of Millville, MN, Gladys Dettmer, of Lake City, MN, Norman (Sue) Goodman, of Rochester, Jeanette (Robert) Nelson, of Mesquite, NV, Margie (Joe) Sweeney, of Waterloo, IA, and Gene (Sandy) Goodman, of Kasson, MN. Larry is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, David and Carroll. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 24, 2012 at Grace Lutheran Church, 45 1st Avenue NE, in Oronoco with Rev. Ben Kempfert officiating.Visitation will be from 4-7 P.M. on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes.Burial will take place at Pleasant Prairie Cemetery in rural Rochester.
