Lamont Arthur Granger

A memorial service will be held for Lamont A. Granger of Rochester, MN on Friday, September 23rd, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at Ranfranz & Vine Funeral Homes' Chapel in Rochester. A visitation will held from 3:00 4:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Lamont Granger was born December 5th, 1947 in Reedsburg, WI to Willard and Phyllis Granger. Survivors include his beloved wife Denise(Young) Granger of 43 years, his mother Phyllis Granger of Viroqua, WI, brother Wilbert Granger of Necedah WI, his two daughtersDanika (Andy) Bridwell of IL , Danielle (William) Fenton of CA , and son Dane Granger of Rochester.He is also survived by his two grandchildren Alexandra and Anderson Bridwell. Lamont graduated from Elroy High School (1966) in Elroy, WI and later graduated from Lacrosse Technical College.He worked at IBM for over 25 years.Lamont was the proprietor of The Footed Shaft, a traditional archery shop until January 2011 where he continued his life-long passion of traditional bow hunting. Lamont was well known for his knowledge, passion, and dedication to traditional archery. He will be missed, with love, by all his family and dear friends.
