Kristine Hiley

Kristine Kay Hiley, age 69 of Rochester, passed away peacefully in her home on July 29th. Preceded in death by husband Alan Edward Hiley, Parents Robert and Kathrine Johnson. Survived by son Mathew and Shannon (Peterson) Hiley, daughter Dawn (Hiley) and Brian Ek. Grandchildren Alahn Ek (17), Korah Ek (15), Braylin Hiley (8), and Ford Hiley (5). Brother Guy Johnson, Sister Lynne (Johnson) and Chuck Streiff and Gwen (Johnson) and Greg Schoenfelder. Kris was a talented, creative, humorous, witty, and intelligent survivor. She cared for and supported many professionally as a Registered Nurse and personally by housing and helping women in recovery for many years. Kris enjoyed her beautiful gardens and the scent of lavender. She was a talented homemaker who often thought outside the box. Throughout her life she enjoyed reading, boating, and spending idle time in her four-season porch. A Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 2, 2019 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes Remembrance and Reception Centre, 5482 Royal Place NW Rochester, MN 55901.
